[Echo City - part 1]

Nice Animation, but very short...

Positves...
-The animation was solid!
-Sound effects were well put together aswell.

Negatives...
-Very short
-Hardly no content (The actual animation lasted for about a minute and a half)
-Unrealistic
Ex. If someone is standing on the hood of your car trying to kill you, while you're going faster than 70mph, just hit the brakes to throw them off.
Ex.2 When he shot the first policeman down, the others would've shot him down and QUICK LIKE,but he had time to shoot 2 officers, while taking his time

Synopsis:
While the animation may be enough to draw 1's attention, that individual would most likely become angry with the actual run time of the animation. Work on your voice acting, as the voices (excluding the police) sounded stale. And try to deliver more content.

...Is that it? Could've been better.

It was...IMO not horrible,but at the same time not decent.
The physics sucked...alot. It was very slow, especially when Luffy headbutted him, that guy should've easily avoided it. The fight was only about 20 secs, and the sound FX was horendous. It was fuzzy and was drowned out by the music,which was also fuzzy and loud. I'll guess that you probably don't know how to compress music and sounds so...

Right click the file in the library and hit "export settings"
I usually use 32kbs and Medium or best for the quality.
Experiment with it and you may find something you like better.

All in all it was a good try, but to slow. Your frame rate was between 12fps and 15fps right? Work with a higher frame rate compress your sounds, and the characters should at least try to dodge instead of just standing there.

Luffy was holding Alex when he headbutted him, so of course he couldn't run or jump.
I admit that part was the slowest, but the fight..? It was a minute long! The sound was aight, but it was a bit fuzzy I agree. The SFX was ok IMO. I had the fps set to 10 fps (sounds crazy, i know), only because you could see Alex's combo on Luffy later on.

And they do dodge...just not very often! lol

Thanks for reviewing, and I will try to get better. Idk though, alot of games are starting to come out and I'm in the "game" phase again. So it might be awhile before 'ol Haden gets to work.

Well I'll start off by saying the drawings weren't that bad. You should however work on your shading. You should really on your backgrounds.
The audio was F'ed up really bad. What I heard that orange Hedgehog say was completely inaudible and I couldn't hear what Knuckles was saying IF he was saying anything at all.

*Advice* If you submit a preview at least make sure its finished with everything. Don't just submit an unfinished flash with buttons that don't work, ect.

HAH!! Awesome just as I expected!

After seeing the first one I kept checking the Flash Portal everyday trying to find this. Now that thats out of the way *ahem* my review.

I Loved this movie (especially the Shadow ownage heh heh). The animation was a lot smoother than its predecessor. The story is awesome especially with all of these plot twists that I don't expect. I also respect that there aren't any grammar and/or spelling errors in this movie like there are in ALOT of other sprite movies.

P.S.~Is the first Reversal really your first flash or is it your first flash you felt Newgrounds would like?

Not bad. No real action in this one,but good nonetheless. Better with sound fx and text boxes. Good use of sprites.

Wow...super improvement...

That was much better than your intro. That was really good. It would be alot better with Sound fx though. Really good animation style and fight scene. But just like my review in the intro some sprites were traced better than otherz,but don't sweat it you probably wouldn't be able to tell unless you trace sprites yourself.

Good flash, look for mine on Christmas Eve I have to make some adjustments to it. Itz my first flash that will be submitted to NG and it is part one of a five part series.
Overall superb flash!!

I defenitly worked a lot harder on this then the intro, but I still don't know how to fix the sprite bluryness.
Also, it has no sfx because it is more like a music video then a episode, but it is an episode.

Heres Some Constructive Criticism...

Not to be mean or anything but that really sucked...

1.The spritez were poorly animated and the BG was really blurry.
2. Some spritez were traced better than othaz.(E.G. Shadow running)
3.It was too slow paced. (Slow frame rate,slow movement)
4.What did Shadow do while fighting Sandbag? He ran into him, turned around(in a very poorly and unanimated way) and then just growled.

Synopsis: You have alot to improve on. If you need help PM me or watch some other sprite filmz. My first will be out by Christmas since itz a Christmas special.
You have a good idea just not the animation skillz. Keep trying.

I'm not sure why some sprites were blurier then others but I don't think the frame rate is that slow. The frame rate I use is 24 fps, the usaual for sprite movies. You are defenitly right about the part when he turned around, it wasn't supposed to happen. As I said in my author comment, it's supposed to be with episode one, but something happened with the audio when I tried connecting them that I couldn't fix. Also, if i'm going to ask for your help I have to see your video first, and also, I have seen tons of sprite movies. Thanks anyways,

It was real good. Just try to find some 16-bit sprites or higher becuz 8 bit sprites look weird when mixed with other sprites. Actionsript could use some work, but good job.
